Attention, attention! Circus Paciento is coming to the hospital!

A week-long programme full of fun begins, brightening up everyday life for the children and the entire department. Medical clowns visit young patients in hospitals and clinics throughout the week, teaching them new skills in magic, juggling and other circus tricks. The four- to five-day preparation culminates in a surprise – a festive performance where children show off their newly acquired circus skills to their parents, other children, and medical staff. Circus Paciento not only entertains, but also helps to heal. Because laughter and good humour naturally benefit our health and promote a zest for life.

Mission

The mission of Circus Paciento is to distract children from their illness and treatment. To entertain their minds, chase away boredom, and strengthen their desire to recover and lead an active life. Circus Paciento takes place in hospitals and children's sanatoriums, where children usually spend longer periods of time. In the summer, it usually takes place in a real circus big top in the outdoor areas of the facility, which creates an extraordinary atmosphere.
