Health clown shows for children
We know how to cure a bad mood! Medical clowns, usually working in pairs, visit children's wards to prescribe laughter, dispel stress and sadness, cheer up young patients and prescribe more than their fair share of humour.
Health clowns, in the role of funny doctors and nurses, set off to the wards to assess the current condition of patients. Equipped with white medical coats, red noses and a suitcase full of unusual props, the "cheerful visit" begins!
Each Health Clown has their own original name and costume. Yet they are completely different from ordinary circus clowns. Health Clowns are not defined by flashy, pompous external attributes and striking make-up. On the contrary, empathy, playfulness and sensitivity to their own "shortcomings" and "mistakes" are what make a clown a Health Clown. The white coat and names of Health Clowns are based on the medical environment. After all, this is where hospitalised children find themselves and need to gain perspective on it.
Before the start of the Clown Show, the Health Clowns consult with the medical staff about the current condition and state of the children. Through improvisation, each little patient is drawn into a funny and unexpected situation. The aim of Klauniáda is to distract the patient from their illness and mental discomfort, engage them in play, involve them in it and thus bring a smile to their face.
Clown visits have a positive effect on the environment in paediatric wards. Our team of Medical Clowns practises throughout the Czech Republic. These experts in good humour manage more than 400 visits per month. That's approximately 1,200 hours of laughter. See when and where you can meet us.
